honestly one of the funniest and most charming things about eiffel is how normal his opinions are. his big star wars rants are "han shot first" and how much he hates the prequels + digital remasters. most of his favorite movies and bands are exactly what you'd expect for his demographic. he's a "controversial opinion: pineapple goes on pizza" dating app guy and he takes that seriously. you could set him loose in any store full of nostalgia bait guy memorabilia - a real old-playboy-magazines-and-license-plates type of place - and he'd lose his mind.

#you can't tell me I'm wrong #Murderbot #shoes #also FYI our TV broke on Tuesday night #spontaneously; the backlight strip that makes it possible to see the LEDs stopped working #so on Wednesday I contacted repair shops and electronics stores and umpteen billion websites #and found that it wasn't worth the money to fix #when there was a new one of a similar kind at a discount nearby #the same store recycles old TVs #so we swapped them out #and now there's a shiny new one mostly installed correctly #the screws for the wall mount are too long #but we'll get new ones soon #and most importantly it WORKS #so we can watch Murderbot tomorrow #aaaaaaaaaa #gonna be gone all day today #so glad we got that fixed #unrelated: I'll be wearing my 'ART sent me' hat today #maybe I'll wear my Sanctuary Moon shirt too

I don't know if I'm just being dramatic™ but lights are getting too bright and it sucks! When it's dark outside I can barely walk next to a street anymore.

the real mortifying day is after months of getting small bags of dog treats one day the bag of dog treats has like. perfectly normal human candies/pastries or something inside

Of Course charles is confused and impulsively asks what it is/how it's different from the usual only for the clerk to reply theyre Whatever Erik's Favorite Treat Is and its that day forward erik is adamant they just do their shopping online
